actually, they did use many asian actors for the voices like lucy liu, jackie chan, and randall kim.

but the main character panda was not asian. by the way, was sifu a rat?

sifu was a red panda. the main character was played by jack black. frankly, i’m glad jack black played that character and not anyone else. he’s perfect to play a fat and not so bright panda.
